Facility Site Planning & Lab Design

Our consultants have the expertise and industry know-how to help you plan and design your new lab. Based on your goals, we will work with you, your cyclotron supplier, and your architect to design your new radiochemistry laboratory and develop the elevations. We will also lay out the placement of all supplied equipment, define the power requirements, identify areas where extra support will be needed to handle heavy pieces of equipment or shielding, and as necessary, bring in a consultant for advice on cGMP.

Custom Proposal

After an initial consultation and evaluation, we prepare a detailed, yet easy to understand, quotation. Each proposal is organized by function within the facility. Typically, a separate itemized quotation is submitted for various sub-groups, which may include any combination of the elements below.

Product Handling

•	Ordering & ConsolidatingOnce the proposal is approved, The Gollman Group rolls up their sleeves and gets busy purchasing product, receiving, unpacking and inspecting items. We deal with any backorders, incorrect products received, and necessary returns that come with ordering from more than 50 manufacturers.
•	Packing & ShippingOnce we have consolidated your entire order and you are ready to receive your products, we carefully prepare your shipment, item by item. While some items such as hazardous chemicals and cold-packed items must be shipped separately, we make every effort to consolidate your order into one shipment. This ensures that you receive all of your items at the same time for unpacking and installation.
•	Installation & TrainingOnce your order arrives at your facility, we continue our first-class services with on-site installation and training. We will uncrate the boxes, verify with you that all items are accounted for, and then assist you with setting up your new equipment. Finally, The Gollman Group coordinates all product and procedure training with the specific manufacturers where required.

Experienced Radiochemist On-Site Assistance

To complete your Gollman Group experience, we will send an experienced radiochemist to your facility for one week after installation is completed. In many cases, the personnel at new facilities have only recently undergone training and are new to the radiochemistry field. Our knowledgeable radiochemist will work with the laboratory staff and answer any questions they may have regarding technique or equipment operation as the site begins production. Having an experienced radiochemist on site can be both comforting and very helpful to the staff, thus helping to reduce employee turnover.
